I enjoy taking screenshots in Second Life, even if I'm not the best in the world at it. But I wanted to do something different from portraits. The first idea was to do set of photos, a ton of beach themed photos, hanging out at the park theme, etc. But the idea grew old fast. So instead I decided I wanted to try my had at creating a web comic with screenshots from Second Life.
what is the story about exactly? I have no idea o_O"
Throwing my characters into an abandoned town always seems to be a good starting point for me, lol ^_^
but we'll see if this evolves into anything good. I hope it dose *crosses fingers*

While exploring various free photo studios I stumbled across this Photo Booth and just had to take some photos. Of course I had to go into photoshop and edit all those screenshots into one photo that looks like a film strip; but I always have fun messing around in photoshop any way.
Speaking of messing around in Photoshop, I decided that my old profile photo was well.... kind of boring. So I took the photo booth photos and incorporated them into a new profile photo

Fun With Skins

So yesterday I decided I felt like taking photos of all the skins I have. Ok, only 3 of the skins I own are ones I bought, the rest are freebies and well.... you can only expect so much from a freebie. though actually I really do like this freebie, it's nice and goth and best of all, FREE. So if I'm ever in a really goth mood I have a feeling I'd slap that skin on.
the skin I got from Platinum oh these many years ago (ok, it's only been a year) is my most hated skin I ever set eyes on in my inventory. The lips bother me, they're too tight and weird and the detail on the skin it self weirds me out for some reason, too many spots I guess. not that I don't like freckles and all, but I wouldn't call what this skin has 'freckles' any way.
So, what's the reason I have it then? well, funny story... it involved me thinking "gee I could make lots of money as an escort" and getting roped into some escort agency that gave me a "make-over" which included this skin. Well, I'm not very good at the whole 'cybering' thing and plus it just made me over all uncomfortable; so I ended up quiting within a week. It just wasn't my thing. and no, I don't plan on ever trying it again. In fact, I just prefer to stick to dancing, the none stripping kind thank-you-very-much.
and so, this brings me to my favorite and newest skin, Phoebe palette#2 Smoky from =RaC=. What can I say, I love =RaC= and too me they are the best skins around. of course, 'best skins around' is always a matter of opinion and a few people I've talked to have stated that they feel the =RaC= skins are too expensive. *shrugs* but heck, to each their own, right? ^_^

Hello and welcome to my very first post in my journal. Well, I did have a LiveJournal but I deleted it a while back for various reasons.

I'm 24 years old and married in RL.

My SL interest include taking and posting photos on my flickr, hanging out in clubs and attending random classes I find interesting.
What To Expect From My Blog:
One word: randomness.
I may post random thoughts on Second Life, what my day was like, and of course I'll have a 'random photo' post every week or so where I just dump all the amusing or interesting screenshots I've been taking on my travels through Second Life.
